the camp sits within a private conversation area bordering tarangire national park. Covering an area of 2600sq kilometers the National Park literally teems with wildlife throughout the year with a dense population during the dry season (June October). treetopss unique location allows access to the game in an outside the park year round. Home to some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa and symbolized by the baobab tree the park is also an ornithologists paradise, rich in birds of prey. It is the dcor that is the most ingenious feature of Tarangire Treetops lodge - a rich and creative blend of Tanzanian fabrics, masai craftsmanship and swahili opulence - creating a seductive and very african ambience.
LOCATION: the lodge is 110 km southwest of arusha. access by road is 2.5 hours from arusha. Accessible by Air to Tarangire or Kuro airstrips (airstrip transfer time 1 hour).
CHILDREN POLICY: Children are welcome however due to the ˜treetop nature of the camp it is advisable to bring younger children only if they can be well supervised.
