Sayari is Kiswahili for universe/planet. the name captures the vast plains and endless skies in which the camp is immersed. sayari camp is a seasonal camp that follows the migratory patterns. the camp delivers miles of breathtaking african nature in all directions along with many creature comforts right in the middle of the bush.. The name Serengeti stems from the Maasai word 'siring' referring to 'endless plains', and that's really what it is. The locations of this Tanzania safari camp are all near the border of the national park (Mara is just inside the park and Piaya and Soit Sambu just outside the park). This is to allow for the superior combination of top wildlife viewing, walking safaris and interaction with local cultures like the maasai just outside the park.
