The Haven is located approximately 20km Northwest of Jinja Town on the west bank of the River Nile (GPS: N 00° 32,561' E 33° 05,375'). Just over an hour drive from Kampala, 3 hours from entebbe international airport.
The journey from Jinja is simple, taking about 20 minutes with private transport and approximately 1hr by matatu at a cost of U$ 1.5. From here you can hire a 'boda-boda'. From Jinja Town turn right at the 'Nile Brewery' just beyond the 'Owen Falls Dam' and head towards kayunga. continue on this road for approximately 15km until you are directed right by our sign. From there, only a 3km journey on a good murram road, even accessible without a 4x4, will lead you to the haven.
