ngare sero means sweet water. A spring is born in the forest beside the Lodge and runs into a lake full of tropical plants, which forms an ideal bird sanctuary of incredible beauty. from the balcony you can see the snow capped peak of kilimanjaro framed by forest and coffee trees. the lodge was originally a fine old german farmhouse built at the turn of the century. Thick walls, heavy timber beams and period decor impart comfort and charm.
