The lodge is built atop raised ground allowing panoramic views of distant Samburu hills to one side and El Ndonyo Keri (samburu name for mt. Kenya) on the other.
Location
Situated 325 kms from Nairobi, in the middle of the park, next to the new oryx airstrip. it is accessible from the main isiolo - moyale road at both ngare mara as well as archers post junctions.
Climate
altitude of 700 meters. Very hot and dry with temperatures averaging 29 degrees centigrades (85 degrees F) during the day and warm nights.
